Nestled in the heart of the Cascade Mountains, Leavenworth, Washington is a charming mountain town that offers a unique blend of Bavarian culture and outdoor adventure. The town's picturesque Alpine architecture, quaint shops, and authentic German restaurants make it a popular destination for visitors looking for a one-of-a-kind winter vacation experience.

Day One: Arriving and Dinner at Andreas Keller

After a scenic drive, we arrived in Leavenworth and checked into the Enzian Inn. We were excited to explore the town and its German charm and headed to Andreas Keller for dinner. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere, live accordion music, and delicious German cuisine, including schnitzel and soft pretzels, made for a memorable dining experience.

Day Two: German Breakfast, Skiing, and Hot Tubbing

We woke up early and headed to the Enzian Inn's dining room for a delicious traditional German breakfast, complete with waffles and pastries. We were serenaded by an alpenhorn player, who stood on a small railing overlooking the town with dramatic mountain peaks in the background.

After breakfast, we headed to Stevens Pass Ski Resort for a full day of skiing. We enjoyed skiing on the blue runs and taking in the stunning views of the Cascade Mountains.

After a day on the slopes, we returned to the Enzian Inn and relaxed in the pool and hot tub, which was the perfect way to unwind and soothe our sore muscles.

For dinner, we went to Larch, a farm-to-table restaurant that features locally sourced ingredients. We were impressed with the house-made pasta and the whole roasted cauliflower appetizer.

Day Three: Skiing and Scenic Drive Home to Vancouver

On our last day in Leavenworth, we hit the slopes early for one final day of skiing. We enjoyed skiing on the blue runs and taking in the beauty of the surrounding mountains.

After skiing, we said goodbye to Leavenworth and drove home to Vancouver. The drive was beautiful and we enjoyed the scenic views of the mountains and snow-covered forests.

In conclusion, Leavenworth, Washington offers a winter wonderland of German culture and outdoor adventure. Whether you're a skier, snowboarder, or just looking to experience a unique winter vacation destination, Leavenworth has something for everyone.
